VelqirPcs Warranty and Refund and Return Policy

1. Right of Withdrawal (EU / German Law)

As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen (14) days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party nominated by you (other than the carrier), take physical possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (VelqirPCs, velqirpcs.com) of your decision by means of a clear statement (e.g. by email). You may use the sample withdrawal form in Section 2, but it is not mandatory.

2. Sample Withdrawal Form

If you wish to withdraw, you may send us an email containing the following information:

I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the purchase of the following goods: [Order number / product description] / Ordered on: [date] / Name of consumer: [your name] / Date: [date]

3. Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (except for any extra costs arising from your choice of a delivery type other than our cheapest standard delivery), without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we receive your withdrawal notice.

We will use the same payment method you used for the original transaction (Stripe / credit card) for the reimbursement. You will not incur any fees as a result of this reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof of return, whichever is earlier.

4. Return of Goods

You must return the goods to us without undue delay and in any case no later than 14 days from the day you notify us of your withdrawal.

The deadline is met if you send the goods before the 14-day period has expired.

You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is the result of handling that was not necessary for testing the condition, properties and functionality of the goods.

5. Exclusions from the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Custom-built PCs configured to your personal specifications, once assembly has begun (§ 312g para. 2 no. 1 German Civil Code / BGB)
  • Software licences (e.g. Windows 11) that have already been activated or used
  • Goods that have been unsealed after delivery and cannot be returned for hygiene or health-protection reasons
  • Digital content not supplied on a physical medium, where delivery has begun with your express consent

Important: Because our PCs are built to your individual configuration (custom build), these orders are exempt from the right of withdrawal once assembly has started. Please review your configuration carefully before placing your order.

6. Statutory Warranty (Legal Guarantee)

Your statutory warranty rights under German law apply (§§ 434 ff. BGB). The warranty period is two (2) years from the date of delivery. This warranty is required by German and EU consumer law and cannot be waived or reduced.

If a defect exists, you have the following rights in this order:

  • Subsequent performance (repair or replacement)
  • Withdrawal from the contract or reduction of the purchase price, if subsequent performance fails
  • Damages under the statutory conditions

7. What the Warranty Covers

The statutory warranty only covers manufacturing defects that existed at the time of delivery. It does not cover:

  • Physical damage caused by the customer (drops, impacts, liquid spills)
  • Damage resulting from overclocking, unauthorised modifications
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Software issues, viruses, or damage caused by customer-installed software
  • Parts sourced or installed by the customer after delivery
  • Damage caused by use of incorrect power supplies, voltages, or accessories

After 12 months from delivery, the burden of proof shifts to the customer. The customer must demonstrate that any defect existed at the time of delivery, not that it arose through later use or mishandling.

8. Manufacturer Warranties

All components used in our builds are brand-name parts from reputable manufacturers (e.g. AMD, NVIDIA, Corsair, Samsung, MSI). Each of these manufacturers offers their own independent warranty, typically ranging from 2 to 5 years depending on the component.

In the event of a component failure, you may contact the manufacturer directly to make a warranty claim. This is in addition to — and completely separate from — your statutory rights with VelqirPCs.

We are happy to assist you identify the correct manufacturer warranty process for any component in your build.

9. Warranty Void Conditions

The following actions will void your warranty with VelqirPCs (statutory rights under German law remain unaffected):

  • Tampering with internal components after delivery
  • Physical damage caused by mishandling, dropping, or liquid contact
  • Overclocking or modification of hardware beyond manufacturer specifications
  • Removal or alteration of serial numbers or warranty seals
  • Damage caused by connecting incompatible peripherals or incorrect power sources

Note: Your statutory warranty rights under German law (§§ 434 ff. BGB) cannot be removed or limited by these conditions. The above applies to any additional voluntary warranty provided by VelqirPCs.

10. Diagnostic Fee

If you submit a warranty claim and our inspection finds no defect — meaning the issue is not a manufacturing fault but the result of customer handling, software, or external factors — we reserve the right to charge a diagnostic and inspection fee of up to €50 to cover our time and testing costs.

We will always inform you before any fee is charged. If you choose not to proceed after being informed, the device will be returned to you at your cost.

11. Refund Process

Once we have received and inspected the returned goods, we will process your refund as follows:

  • Refund via your original payment method (Stripe / credit card)
  • Processing time: up to 14 days after receipt of the return
  • The refund amount equals the purchase price paid, minus any deduction for loss of value where applicable
  • Delivery costs are only refunded if the defect or issue is our responsibility
